They say time is money, and your time is worth gold to us! There are different types
of memberships within the rescue squad. Comprehensive Rescue, Support
Operations, Junior Rescue Squad, and Search and Rescue/Water Rescue and
Recovery. We also have our Blue Squadron who help with maintenance,
bookkeeping, computer work, fundraising, community awareness, etc..
All members must meet minimum requirements for membership:
Training is provided in-house to BCRS members free of charge. Operational members must
serve 24 hours per month. Administrative volunteers must serve 12 hours each month.

Our General BCRS member must be at least 18 years of age and assists with comprehensive rescue operations. The member is responsible for a commitment of serving 24 hours per month.
Our Junior BCRS members are 14-17 years of age and work alongside our general members providing comprehensive rescue support.
Our Dragon Team Members provide specialized support for The Dragon. This team is part of our Special Operations and receives unique training in order to be able to support the type of rescue incidents that occur in this area.
Our Blue Squadron helps with maintenance, bookkeeping, computer work, fundraising, community awareness, etc.. This role is perfect for someone who may not be able to commit 24 hours a month or who would like to give back to their community outside of rescue operations.
